Since the beginning of time man has denied what I believe to be basic rights of citizenship to all different types of races and one particular gender. Hierarchy has been renamed “law” and “the justice system” and promoting male dominance by not including women since the beginning of time. Women are to be seen in the home and neither seen nor heard outside of it thus excluding them from any public form. Societies have engaged in sex-role stereotyping, with men undertaking more responsibility for public affairs and women for home, family, and childcare. There are obvious benefits to such stereotypes, since they make it far more likely that individual men and women will complement each other and form stable and functional unions for the rearing of children. Therefore elites see no reason to struggle against those benefits. There are many examples of this all through out history. At one point in time, women were not allowed to vote, women had to submit to laws when they had no voice in their formation. Married women had no property rights Husbands had legal power over and responsibility for their wives to the extent that they could imprison or beat them with impunity. Divorce and child custody laws favored men, giving no rights to women. They had to pay property taxes although they had no representation in the levying of these taxes. Most occupations were closed to women and when women did work they were paid only a fraction of what men earned. Women were not allowed to enter professions such as medicine or law and had no means to gain an education since no college or university would accept women students. With only a few exceptions, women were not allowed to participate in the affairs of the church and at the least were robbed of their self-confidence and self-respect, and were made totally dependent on men. However this inequality doesn’t stop there. The law says that in order for change we must have process, which takes time and unless this changes befits the elites it is curbed in hopes the change will be forgotten or less drastic when it goes into affect for those who stand to loss. But remember the law is at work and since it works for everyone equally or so we are told many think they are doing the right thing. Class, gender and race are the primary material relations of this exploitation, and political views often use this exploitation to promote particular advantage of some people (elites). Conservatives consider community loyalty important. The communities people grow up in are generally connected to ethnicity. That's no accident, because ethnicity is what develops when people live together with a common way of life for a long time. Ethnicity is not the same thing as "race" as a biological category; on the other hand, the two are difficult to disentangle because both arise out of shared history and common descent. Therefore race is no longer and issue. Police don’t stop a car full of black men because they are black and might find drugs. They stop them because of ethnicity and since drugs are illegal for any ethnic group those black men will go to jail like everyone else, or at least this is what the justices system would have you believe to be fair.
